A man needs to cross a creek. There is a boat he can take. But, the boat can only take one thing at a time. The man has 3 things he must take. A fox, a sheep, and cabbage. If he were to take fox, then the sheep would eat the cabbage. But, if he were to take the cabbage, then the fox would eat the sheep. How does the man take the items across?

The man takes the sheep first because the sheep will not eat cabbage. The man then goes to the other side of the creek. He then brings the fox to the other side. He takes the sheep back to the other side. After taking the sheep, he will take the cabbage with him. After taking the cabbage to the other side, he goes to the original side, he takes the sheep with him to the other side.
